Student Assistant in HR

Do you want to gain practical experience in HR work at a government agency while contributing to something greater? With us, you will have the opportunity to develop within HR, build valuable skills alongside your studies, and help strengthen our agency as an employer.

You will be part of the HR unit with four colleagues and an HR manager. We are responsible for the agency's strategic competence supply and drive the work to continue developing as an attractive and sustainable employer.

About the Job

We are now looking for a part-time student assistant who wants to strengthen the HR unit. The job is suitable for you who are studying the personnel and working life program or equivalent education and want to apply theory in practice during your studies. As a student assistant with us, you will have a varied job where you will gain good insight into how HR works in a government agency.

Your tasks will broadly involve participating in the daily work of HR administration and HR processing, from supporting various parts of the recruitment process to writing employment decisions or participating in some of our development initiatives. You will gradually take on more responsibility and thus contribute to the development work around routines and working methods as you become more familiar with the role.

You will work closely with your colleagues in the HR unit where you have the opportunity to discuss questions and ideas.

About You

We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing a behavioral science education with a focus on HR and labor issues or equivalent (at least 60 approved higher education credits).

As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and structured. You are service-oriented, have the ability to listen to needs, and build trusting relationships. You easily take on new tasks and can work independently with support from experienced colleagues. Collaboration is a natural way of working for you, and in the team, you contribute to learning and a good working atmosphere.

It is an advantage if you have experience in administrative work, preferably within the HR field.

Good to Know

The employment will be established under the state agreement on fixed-term employment as a student assistant. Therefore, you will be employed for one term at a time and for a maximum of four terms. You need to have the capacity to work 20 percent each week by agreement. Do not wait with your application, interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis!
